I was so surprised!  I was laughing and crying all at the sametime! He knelt down and opened a box with a ring and light in it!  The ring is so beautiful!!! I love it! He proposed at my parent's house in front of their fire place they had decorated beautifully for christmas! I couldn't imagine a more perfect setting!  

I made her think we were taking Christmas photos.  I had her mom put the ring in her Christmas stocking on the fire place.  While we were taking Christmas photos in front of the fireplace I reached behind her and got the ring out of her stocking.  I put it in my hand and held it out until she saw it.  She was so surprised!  It worked out so well! I had no idea what emotion she was on!  She was laughing and crying all at once!
